Privacy policy

This notice explains how SüdImmobilien Bau GmbH processes personal data when you use sudimmobilien.com or send a purchase enquiry about property in Northern Cyprus.

2. Hosting

The site is hosted by a provider in the European Union. The provider processes usage data (IP address, time, page) on our behalf under GDPR Art. 28 to operate the site and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server logs are deleted after a short period unless a longer retention is needed to investigate abuse.

3. Enquiries

If you use the form or contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process your name, contact details, language, the property concerned and your message in order to reply and to prepare a possible brokerage relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Required fields are marked. Without them we cannot handle the enquiry.

Enquiries are normally kept for 24 months after the last activity, then deleted unless commercial or tax law requires longer retention (up to ten years).

4. Account

We may create an account internally. We then store master data, language, favourites and saved searches to provide the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), until you or we delete the account, subject to legal duties.

5. Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies cover session, CSRF protection, language and currency (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, section 25(2) TDDDG). They are not used for advertising.

Analytics or marketing scripts load only if you choose “Accept all” (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, section 25(1) TDDDG). You may withdraw consent by clearing cookies and reloading the page. Details: Cookie policy.

6. WhatsApp

The WhatsApp button opens Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. If you write to us there, WhatsApp’s own privacy notice also applies. Meta may process data in the United States. Use of WhatsApp is voluntary.

7. Fonts and icons

We load fonts from a European font service and icons from a content delivery network. Your IP address may be sent to that provider (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

8. Recipients and third countries

Only staff who handle your enquiry have access. Processors (hosting, email if configured) are bound by Art. 28 GDPR.

The properties are in Northern Cyprus, which is not an EU member state. If a purchase is prepared locally, contact data may be shared with local parties (developer, notary, lawyer) where needed to perform your request (Art. 6(1)(b), Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR). Data protection there may differ from the EU level.

9. Retention

Server logs: short term, longer if abuse is investigated
Enquiries: normally 24 months
Contracts and accounts: statutory periods (usually 6 or 10 years)
User account: until deletion
Consent cookies: until expiry or withdrawal

10. Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Write to info@sudimmobilien.com.

11. Complaint

You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular:

12. No automated decisions

We do not use automated decision-making including profiling under Art. 22 GDPR.

13. Changes

We update this notice if processing or the law changes. The version published on the website applies.
